Top 10 4G Smartphones Which Are Also The Bestselling Ones In The World

The first generation mobile phone came out when I was a kid, and it’s already 4th generation now. Wow! Technology is growing at a pace like never before. 4G being the talk of the town everywhere, it’s not only the mobile communication networks which are working towards it, the smartphone giants are also paddling hard to take the lead. And as always, it’s the customer which benefits from the competition of manufacturing the best 4G smartphones in the world.

These new handsets are compatible with 4G network, and they not only provide fast internet, but also facilitates features like high end gaming and HD mobile TV.

This list is not exactly about the top 10 4G smartphones in the world. It’s more about the top 10 bestselling 4G smartphones which are economical as well. Most of the products I will be listing fall in the price range $150 to $250, making it pretty much affordable. As you must know that the smartphone industry is no longer ruled by one or two giant names, instead, there is long list of companies which produce great products. Hence, don’t be surprised if you find some extremely new names in the countdown of some of the best 4G smartphones.

#10 LG G5

lg 4g smarphone

Staring the countdown is G5, the only LG product in this list which is a pleasant surprise as of late LG has been struggling to match up to some other brands in the smartphone section. With a decent 2.1 GHz (Snapgragon 820) processor and a 5.3 inch display, this device is a good value for money. It has a dual camera at the rear end – 16 MP and 8 MP, for clicking amazing pictures and a 8 MP front camera for selfies, something which gives this 4G smartphone an edge over others.

#9 Huawei Honor 5X

The best part about this dual SIM phone by Huawei is that it’s super fast. The unlocking time in this phone is a mere 0.5 second. It is available in four colors in the market – sunset gold, dark gray, black and daybreak silver. If you are a fan of selfies then this might not be the best phone for you, considering the fact that it’s 5MP front camera isn’t among the best. This gadget is widely loved for the 3GB RAM and Qualcomm Octa-Core processor which makes this device damn fast.

#8 Sony Xperia Z5

Like LG, Sony is another giant brand which is finding it hard to compete with the fast emerging Chinese companies. One of the prime reasons for including this 4G handset in this list is the excellent camera which it has. The 23 MP camera lets you capture the finest details with ease and the quality of the front camera is also excellent, in spite of it being only 5 MP. The phone supports the latest android version – Marshmallow, making it a good option is terms of OS.

#7 Samsung Galaxy S5

Galaxy S5 is one of the bestselling 4G smarphones in the world today. Samsung has a reputation of producing mass adopted products and this one is no different. The 4G LTE model is basic and doesn’t offer as many features as some of the other products in its range, it is the simplicity which basically wins the heart. The part I love about this handset is the 1080p Super AMOLED HD display, it certainly enhances the user experience to a great extent.

#6 OnePlus Three

pne plus three 4g handset

One of the most recent models by OnePlus, OnePlus 3 4G edition has a lot of improvements in terms of speed. With a 6 GB RAM and a processor of 1.6 GHz Qualcomm Quad core Snapdragon 820, this phone just never lags. The other good thing about the phone is the Li-Po battery of 3000 mAh. The interface is being minimal, giving the user a very elegant and classy feeling. The camera quality is also good, though I don’t find much improvement from the previous model by OnePlus.

#5 HTC One E9 Plus

HTC 4g mobile

The Corning Gorilla Glass 4 in One E9 plus by HTC makes it shatterproof and the Quad HD display lets you stream high resolution videos at 4G speed. A lot of attention is being given on media support in this phone, which is quite evident from the Media Tek MT6795M Helio  X10 card it has. The 20 MP camera has all the features you need, be it face detection, panorama, touch focus, LED flash or HDR. The Dolby Audio Technology takes the sound quality to a new level all together, making it a complete phone in every sense.

#4 Asus Zenfone 2

Zenfone 2 may be one of the oldest models in this list of top 10 4G smartphones, but the robust nature of the phone technology wise still makes it one of my favourites. Unlike other android phones, this one runs on an Intel processor which computers use. The look given to the phone is top notch, the battery backup is solid and you get all this at a very reasonable price of $199. What else can you ask for? In case you are looking for too many functionalities and features, then Zenfone 2 may not be apt for you.

#3 Huawei Nexus 6P

nexus smartphone

When Google does something, you expect nothing short of the best in business, and Nexus 6P lives up to it. The VQHD AMOLED display showcases pictures and videos with great clarity and rich detail. The internal storage capacity is 32 GB, which is great as generally you will find only 16 GB in other similar models. The Cat 6 technology used to assist 4G LTE network comes as a great bonus, as it will allow you to access high speed internet with practically no difficulty at all.

#2 Samsung Galaxy S7

samsung 4g smartphone

This advanced model by Samsung comes in with a lot of surprises for the tech freaks. It has a dual Octa Core processor (2.3 GHZ + 1.6 GHz) making it perfect for carrying out a lot of operations simultaneously. Samsung is selling this product like hot cakes all over the international market, making it a huge success globally and not just in US or Asia. In terms of performance as well, there is barely anything you can complain about. I am not a big fan of its look, but the features clearly overpower that aspect.

#1 Moto G Plus (4th Generation)

moto smartphone

Topping the list of best 4G smartphones in the market today is Moto G Plus, a phone which has it all and does it the best. The list of the astounding features it has can just go on and on, so I will keep it short and to the point. The fingerprint reader is extremely sensitive, the camera has a great laser focus, and the phone has a 550 MHz Adreno 405 GPU to assist the 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 Octa-Core processor, providing a great platform for HD gaming, video streaming and a lot more. The battery is mind blowing too. It gives 6 hours of backup with only 15 minutes of charging. Truly an amazing phone, isn’t it?

From a sea of smartphones, the above mentioned top 10 4G smartphones are the ones which rank among the best according to me. If you are still hanging on to your 3G smartphone, then it is time to make a switch. And in case you are looking for a budget smartphone then I am sure this countdown can be of your assistance. There are many other great smartphones as well, but it’s a different feeling when you go with the best.
